Just a little introduction about REAL.REAL stands for Redeemed,Elect,Ambassador and Leader.I am attending the half real programme.it ends somewhere around 30 Jan.my hours are 9am to 6pm.its six days a week inclusive of weekend services for church.oh yes,by the way REAL is an initiative and brainchild of my wonderful church-Grace Assembly of God.the real camp itself is but one of the activities that will be organised in the programme.the lock in camp took place from 28th to 31st of Dec 2009.the camp itself was truly a refreshing experience for me.it was led by my mentor Joey Asher Tan and his team of group leaders.Michael,Melody,May Yin,Hui Yi and Samantha.it is through this camp,i have truly been touched by the Holy Spirit.trust me guys,He is real!
well, im not going to tell you on a day to day record.but just want to share the highlights and lessons that i have learnt during the camp.the camp will rock your world.I particularly enjoyed the company i had throughout the camp.i made friends in all the campers and REAL members.i thoroughly enjoyed the morning reflections at the beach.we went to changi and east coast for two consecutive days.we woke up at three thirty just the go to changi! awesome experience.i shall not elaborate too much because im dead tired now.it only ten but im beat.i loved the team bonding activities.i feel very motivated and bonded with the team but the real emphasis is my bond with God.
during the altar call one the last night, i felt the pesence of God in me. in was almost like i was in a cylinder and shut out from all distractions while God filled me and healed me of my emotional hurt.i had waited five years to truly experience an encounter with God.i finally got it during the camp.
te lesson that i learnt is that through sharing and opening up my heart to God in being sensitive to His voice,i was able to receive the grace of God and receive an annoiting(forgot how to spell) from God.it is truly moiving to know that my God is watching over me and loves me.this camp has opened my eyes to a whole new world with God at the centre of it all.hallelujah! i hope that God may use me to glorify His kingdom and carry out the path that He has planned for me. I love God
